An outpatient surgery center in Maryland is actively seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to join their team.
The Certified Surgical Tech will work a 4-10 schedule with no weekend, no holiday, and no-call responsibilities.
The Certified Surgical Tech will work for an outpatient surgery center known for their orthopedic services.
This Surgery Center is highly accredited, utilizes state-of-the-art technology, and is home to a team of highly specialized surgeons, registered nurses oftentimes holding their CNOR certification, techs, and ancillary staff.
With 3 ORs, some of the specialty procedures offered at this outpatient surrey center include Cartilage Restoration Knee Surgery Hand, Wrist Surgery Elbow Surgery Pain Management Shoulder Surgery Spine Surgery Sports-related treatment Total Hip & Knee Replacement The Certified Surgical Tech must hold a certificate of completion from an accredited surgical technologist program, hold their high school diploma, and have previous surgical technologist experience.
Ideally, the Surgical Tech will be certified through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or through the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
Responsibilities of the Certified Surgical Tech include assisting with operating room equipment and supply setup, arranging and handling instruments according to routine for the given procedure, and maintaining sterile fields throughout surgical procedure.
